About Kelley

Kelley Casper

I have always believed that strong public schools help shape our communities. I am a proud public school graduate, and I spent time teaching students in first & second grade. Over the past decade, I have worked for a nonprofit focusing on mental health and suicide prevention. I am currently a first aid instructor working in high schools to give teens the tools they need to recognize when friends are struggling and how to get them to an adult.

When my two children started in Lakota, I began volunteering in different roles, creating a track record of giving back to our communities. With time spent on District Parent Council, as PTA/PTO President, and as a member of several committees, I developed a strong sense of what makes our district great. I made the decision to run for the board in 2017 to be a part of working to maintain the quality that parents and residents expect from Lakota. I was honored to be reelected in 2021. Creating opportunities and a well-rounded education for every Lakota student have always been what motivates me.

My own children are both proud graduates of Lakota East. Claire graduated from East in 2013 and attended my alma mater, UC. Daniel is a 2016 graduate of East and attended The Ohio State University. My husband Darrin & I have lived in West Chester and Liberty Township for 28 years. With your support, I look forward to continuing to serve our communities for the next four years.
